Couples yoga is like Hatha yoga in which two people support each other in yoga pose sequences. This is a fun class to try whether it’s someone with who you plan or hope to share your life with, or a new friend you’ve just met in class. It's a great way to get to know one another. This yoga class is not your typical yoga class that has a flow to it. There will be a short warm-up and then we will transition from pose to pose as our partner supports and allows us to feel each pose like we never have before.
Working together with a partner can help you move beyond your own self-limiting thoughts that tell you that you can or can't do yoga. It's a fun way to introduce yourself to yoga if this will be your first yoga class.
Come with an open mind and heart — not with a sense that this is going to fix something, but a willingness to learn and grow together by sharing and connecting through yoga.
Try not to be too serious while you are here. You are here to learn and grow but also to have a fun and eventful workshop.
